③neither，两者都不。可与of连用。of后的复数名词前需加冠词或者物主代词。neither of the(物主代词) 名词复数做主语时，谓语动词用单数。如：

2作形容词

①both，两者都，与单数名词连用。如：

Both doors are open两扇门都开着。

②either，两者之间任何一个的，任何一方的，与单数名词连用。如：

On either side of the river there are lots of big trees河的两边都有许多大树。

③neither，两者都不，与单数名词连用。如：

Neither boy is going there两个男孩都不打算去那里。

3作副词

①both，两者。如：

I like them both我喜欢他们两个。

②either，也(不)。用于否定句中。如：

I don’t like fishingDavid doesn’t like fishing， either我不喜欢钓鱼，大卫也不喜欢。

③neither，也不。用于肯定句，表示否定含义。如：

He can’t swim， and neither / nor can I他不会游泳，我也不会。
