's National Guard, Khaledal-Sharif told the BBC that out of the 120 inmates that escaped from al-Judaidaprison, at least half have so far been captured. He said that some were illegalAfrican migrants imprisoned for immigration violations and others were Libya">Libyanswith criminal convictions. The circumstances surrounding the prison break areunclear. A policeman at the scene cited a lack of security there as the mainreason, but officials say they will be investigating what led to the escape.
