As celebrations continue in Britain for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, has been taken to hospital. A statement said the duke, who's 90, was being treated for a bladder infection. At Buckingham Palace itself, thousands of music fans are attending a free jubilee pop concert. Here's Peter Hunt.

Prince Philip's latest illness meant the Queen had to arrive on her own for the second half of the concert. Earlier, for a second time in six months, she'd seen her husband's health take a turn for the worse. Having recovered from a blocked coronary artery, the prince is now suffering from a bladder infection. After it became too painful, he was taken this afternoon from Windsor Castle to the Edward VII in London, a private hospital long favoured by the royals. He'll stay there for a few days, being assessed and treated with antibiotics intravenously.
