A court in Denmark has found four men guilty of plotting a gun attack on a Danish newspaper that published cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in 2005. The men, three Swedish nationals of Arab origin and a Tunisian, were sentenced to 12 years in prison. They had planned what prosecutors called a shooting spree at the offices of the Jyllands-Posten newspaper in Copenhagen.

A Kuwaiti man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after he was convicted of insulting the Prophet Muhammad and his wife on his Twitter account. Hamad al-Naqi was also found guilty of provoking sectarian tensions and insulting the rulers of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Mr al-Naqi, a Shia Muslim, pleaded not guilty. He said that his account had been hacked.
