Ceremonies have taken place in the United States to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the attacks on New York and the Pentagon. In New York, relatives of the nearly 3,000 victims read the names of those who died posing for a minute' silence to mark the exact time of each attack. Speaking at a memorial ceremony in Pentagon, President Obama said what happened 11 years ago had brought the people of the United States together.
