Airline passengers in the United State will from next year be able to read e-books, play games, and browse internet throughout their flight following a changing safety rules, mobile phone calls will still be banned. Johnny Diamond reports.
For America's frequent flyers, it's one of the great frustration modern life turning off their e-readers, tappets electronic games in case they interfere with communication equipment on take off or landing. But for those who fear reading a book, old fashions newspaper or even the in flight magazine relieve its hand, the Federal Aviation Administration says it will ease the take off and landing rule. The vast majority of flights on US carriers should electronic device friendly very soon.
Reports from the Palestinian territories says the members of the Palestinian negotiating team involving the peace talks with Israel have submitted their resignations.
