[00:38.19]There will be no pontiff to protect until the Cardinal electors chose his successor in a few weeks time.
[00:44.57]Earlier, Benedict XVI used the last few hours as Pope to greet each of the Cardinals in turn.

[00:59.14]The US soldier accused of leaking hundreds of thousands of documents to the Wikileaks website has pleaded not guilty to the charge of aiding the enemy.
[01:07.50]But Bradley Manning ended a guilty plea to lesser charges.

[01:12.10]Bradley Manning doesn't deny providing Wikileaks with around half a million classified documents,
[01:17.01]but he does dispute the charge that he did this to aid America's enemies.
[01:21.32]As expected he said he was pleading guilty to 10 of the 22 charges against him.
[01:26.23]If the judge accepts his plea, Private Manning could still face up to 20 years in prison, but not the life sentence the government is seeking.
