　　Finally, be realistic. If you set impossible goals for yourself you can only be disappointed in your progress. Psychologists have determined that learning takes place this way: First, you make a lot of progress and you feel very happy. Then your language ability seems to stay the same; this period can last for days or even weeks. But you mustnt be discouraged. Perhaps we can say that learning English is like taking Chinese medicine. We dont mean that its bitter. We mean that, like Chinese medicine, the effects of your study come slowly but surely.
