攻克四级阅读理解长难句运用框架阅读法

　　第二步，寻觅句主干，即以断句处为一个语言单位，寻找句子的主要内容。

　　在第一个分句中，in response to 意为为了回应，表示目的，属于解释说明的内容，因此后面内容可以略去不看。在第二个分句的末尾，看到了一个冒号(：)，众所周知，冒号起到的也是解释说明的作用，在此句中，第3、4、5个分句都是对于大学如何变得全球化进行解释，所以冒号后面的所有内容也可以略去不看。因此，67个字的长难句，其核心只有6个字：university have become more self-consciously global. 只要读懂这6个字，这句话的实质就已经掌握。

　　根据框架式阅读法，首先断句找标点

　　第二步，寻觅句主干。浏览句子时，发现句1和句2之间有一个代表词but，因此句1属于让步内容，可以略去不看，句2but the United States is still seen by many as unwelcoming to international students才是整个句子的核心，意思为美国依然给很多人留下了不欢迎国际学生的印象
