Many students live alone off campus in order to enjoy greater independence and privacy. But such independence and privacy keep one isolated from ones fellow students. Upon graduation, students will have to work at corporate or government organizations where they must be productive team members. Living alone off campus will make one less competent as a proactive team player.

　　Most colleges and universities in China have sufficiently good facilities for students to study and to live. Living off campus is simply a huge waste of money and time. All students would be better off living on campus.
