Yes. Knowing more languages is cool. But every language provides challenge and needs you to work hard. You have to remember vocabularies, studying sentence structure, pronunciation and grammar as well.
Besides English, have you studied any other languages?
I have worked really hard at being almost fluent in English and recently Ive taken a large interest in French. But it is hard because of its complicated grammar and difficult pronunciation.
What do you think of your level in that language?
I am a moron at French. The complicated grammar and difficult pronunciation shocked me, so it is hard for me to continue.
What is the most difficult part about studying a foreign language?
Grammar rules are hard to remember especially when the two languages have a huge gap between them. But the most important of all is determination, though it has nothing to do with the language itself, it really is the thing that decides how fast you are going to learn that language.
What do you think is the most effective way to learn a foreign language?
I think the most effective way to learn a foreign language is full immersion which means live and speak in that language.
How did you learn English?
I study grammar and vocabulary in college. Then, learn the culture, slangs and pronunciation by watching movies. Im not as fluent as a native speaker now. If true fluency is the goal, you will probably more time exposed to the language on a daily basis.
