The week also sees drama at the bottom of the Primera Liga. Second from bottom Numancia entertains bottom side Espanyol in a match that is make or break for both teams' hopes of avoiding relegation.

Osasuna and Athletic Bilbao can both take a huge step towards safety in the Reino de Navarra stadium, while new Betis coach Jose Nogues makes his debut away to Racing Santander.

Finally Mallorca plays away to Almeria.
