Fans around the globe who have not yet bought tickets for the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in June were on Tuesday given the last chance.
FIFA issued a statement announcing the launch of a new round of up ticket sales, and noted that the 400,000 tickets were available on a first-come, first-served basis.
There are 11 matches, including the final, where no more tickets are available as they have been sold out. Tickets for 53 matches will be available until April 7 online.
They will also be sold within South Africa at First National Bank branches. Two thirds of the three million tickets available for the World Cup have been sold. Approximately half were bought by South Africans.
South Africa play Mexico in the opening game in Johannesburg on June 11. FIFA said in Tuesday's statement that fans should note that time is very important when applying for tickets.
"The first come first served principle means that if you do not apply on time, you run the risk of not getting a ticket."
