Chelsea skipper John Terry reiterated on Saturday his desire to regain the England captaincy which he lost because of scandals in his private life.
The England international defender, once captain of the team, was deprived of the captaincy by coach Fabio Capello after his private life scandals hit the headlines earlier this season.
Chelsea's John Terry aplauds ahead of their English Premier League soccer match against Hull City in Hull, northern England February 2, 2010.
When interviewed by the local media on Saturday, Terry said it was difficult to take the fact of losing the captaincy. But he respected the caoch's decision and would still give 100 percent to the team.
Terry also reclaimed his desire to play for England in 2010 World Cup and hopefully to earn the captaincy back in the future.
