Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Monday the fast pace of Olympic construction in Sochi ahead of schedule was not a reason to relax.
"It's good that we go by the schedule, but nonetheless there is no reason to relax. We should have some reserve...we should stay well-toned," he said at a meeting with Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak who briefed him on the state of construction for the Winter Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi.
Kozak said that International Olympic Committee (IOC) experts were satisfied with the pace of Olympic construction in Sochi.
Over 100 IOC experts, who made over 55 trips to various Olympic sites, held a conference last month in Sochi to assess progress in the preparation of the Winter Olympic Games 2014.
