Czech Republic wrestled down Russia 2-1 at the ice hockey worlds on Sunday, earning their 12th gold medal at ice hockey world championship.
Sweden sealed a 3-1 victory over hosts German to grab the second straight bronze.
With only twenty seconds into the match, Czech Jakub Klepis stunned Russia with the opener after assistance from Jaromir Jagr.
It remained at tactical battle. The Russians controlled the puck while the Czechs staged dangerous counterattacks.
Czech Tomas Rolinek exploited a huge turnover to make it 2-0 on the scoreboards after the review judge called it legal with 18 minutes into second period.
Russian player Alexei Tereshchenko earned a five-minute major and a game misconduct for clipping halfway through the third period.

German Alexander Barta tied the match with a shot to the top corner at late second period to aspire his teammates.
But, Sweden regained the 2-1 lead in the third minute of the third period. Jonas Andersson netted the lead with a wrist shot.
Host Germany was unable to turn around so that Sweden exploited the chance to wrap the bronze medal with 33.06 seconds left.
