Australian midfielder Tim Cahill and South African keeper Itumeleng will be suspended for one match, FIFA confirmed on Thursday.
The FIFA disciplinary committee did not use its right to increase a mandatory one-match ban on Cahill, who was sent off against Germany in their 4-0 defeat on Sunday for a foul on Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The Everton star is regarded as having committed "a serious foul play". And he will sit out the Socceroos' match against Ghana in Rustenburg on Saturday
Itumeleng Khune is also suspended for one match for "denying the opposing team a clear goal-scoring opportunity". Itumeleng Khune was red-carded after tripping Luis Suarez in the penalty area in the 3-0 defeat against Uruguay on Wednesday.
Khune's suspension will be served in the hosts' last group match against France on 22 June.
