The win provisionally sends Atletico-PR to fifth place with 41 points. The team's final standing after the 26th round will depend on other results across the league in the remainder of Wednesday's play. In the 27th round of play, the team will travel to face Cruzeiro on October 2.

Vitoria remains in thirteenth place with 31 points. In the next round of play, the team will receive Gremio on October 2.
