Orlando Pirates football club, who recently won South Africa's MTN8 competition, have set their sights on the country's Premier Soccer League (PSL) title.
Their captain Lucky Lekgwathi said winning the MTN8 cup will go a long way in motivating his team to dethrone SuperSport United, who have won South Africa's PSL for the past three years in a row.
The Sowetan newspaper in Johannesburg quoted Lekgwathi as saying the honeymoon was over after for his team winning their first knockout competition in 10 years.
Orlando Pirates play Mamelodi Sundowns at Lucas Moripe Stadium near Pretoria on Saturday.
"We are hard at training as I'm talking to you now to prepare for the big league match against Sundowns" .
He said Pirates want to make it a habit of making their supporters 'happy people' by winning more silverware.
"This thing of having to wait almost a decade to win a major trophy is not good at all. We owe it to the supporters to win all the remaining trophies this season."
He said the South African PSL is more important that the MTN8 because it will also enable Pirates to participate in the African Champions League.
Saturday's game against Sundowns will be a tough one as the Mamelodi team have made a perfect start to the season.
Pirates will be without suspended Zambian international Isaac Chansa for Saturday.
