A story for Halloween: 'Innocence Burned'
Stuart listened as he leaned over his mother. She was moving her lips but there was no sound. "What happened, Mommy? What happened to you?"
Carrie opened her eyes and looked at her son's face. Her eyes had a wild look of fear. She tried to smile.
“I’m glad that chapel’s gone.”
And she never spoke again.
Caty Weaver wrote and produced our Halloween story, "Innocence Burned." Carrie was Laurel Bowman. Seth Goodwin played Sam. Stuart was Chris Grace. Additional voicing came from Daisy Bracken, Our narrator was Christopher Cruise.
