On the one hand, many students thought cloning would be beneficial to human beings. For example, if a couple can’t have children, cloning can give them a child. We can also use cloning to cure illnesses and use clones for factory work. What’s more, we could clone animals that are becoming extinct.

　　On the other hand, some other students insisted that cloning had its disadvantages and might cause a lot of problems. Firstly, if there were cloned humans, a lot of people would have no work. Secondly, cloned animals get ill and die quite young. Lastly, cloning is very dangerous. Scientists may create monsters by mistake.

　　In my opinion, cloning is a science that has already and will continue to have an enormous influence on our lives. We should use it to make our lives better.
