　　A terrible fire broke out in Dashan Timber Land at midnight yesterday. On hearing the news, the firefighters hurried there at once. Although the fire was very big and the smoke was heavy, they bravely fought against it. The fire lasted for five hours before the firefighters were able to bring it under control. To everyone’s sorrow, almost one third of the forest was destroyed in the fire. Worse still, one person was killed and two firefighters were badly injured.
