　　GiveBackMail had about 200 users several days after opening for business.Every action users take on the site generates a new ad display，and income for the company.

　　“We have established great relationships with our charities，and we’re sure they will promote our service through their social associations，and give our users confidence that their donations really are going to their causes，”says Rambod Yadegar，founder of the service.

　　GiveBackMail currently offers users a choice of seven causes：cancer，education，poverty，the environment，animal rights，AIDS，and disaster relief.Two of the specific charities benefiting during the testing period are the American Red Cross and Conservation Northwest.Mr.Yadegar says users can suggest additional charities that，once checked out，can be added to the list.

　　“It's an interesting business model，”says Timothy Ogden，editor of philanthropy Action.“Whether it's significant or not depends on whether it can attract enough people.”Mr.Ogden notes that people tend to resist changing their Web habits，and that some companies trying to attract customers from other sites have actually offered payments.Mr.Yadegar says his site does not offer financial rewards.
