　　交通事故的另外一个原因是自行车状况不佳。

　　句型提炼：keep...in good condition“使……处于良好的状况”，这里使用了被动语态。被动语态在英语中的使用远远高于汉语。另外注意cause的后置定语用of，而reason的后置定语用for。

　　4．It is up to all of us road users to make sure that we avoid accidents by paying attention to road safety.

　　注意道路交通安全，确保避免交通事故取决于我们每一个路人。

　　句型提炼：it这里是形式主语，真正的主语是动词不定式，而不是that从句。

　　1．put through 给某人接通（电话）；使经历

　　Please put me through to the manager.

　　请帮我接通经理的电话。

　　用法拓展含有through的短语

　　break through 突围，冲垮

　　get through 接通（电话），完成（工作），通过（考试）

　　go through 通过，经受，浏览，仔细检查

　　look through 看透，仔细查看，浏览，翻阅，温习

　　pass through 穿过，越过

　　live through 活过，经过（困难，危险）之后仍旧活着

　　If everyone keeps in line，we'll get through the Customs more quickly.
