　　Last Friday I had an interview with Professor Yang, a plastic surgeon, on the issue of plastic surgery among university students in China. Among the university students, some choose to do plastic surgery to promote self-confidence and have more opportunities to be employed, while the rest do that out of curiosity or for the sake of fashion.

　　According to Professor Yang, university students need to adopt a careful and objective attitude towards plastic surgery because it may cause psychological problems like anxiety, depression and disappointment. What matters most, for university students, is to enhance their comprehensive competitiveness. Also, Professor Yang specially stressed that it’s harmful for teenagers under 18 to do plastic surgery because they are still underdeveloped.

　　Last weekend, I had an interview with Professor Li about the issue of overseas summer camps. According to Professor Li, an increasing number of Chinese parents choose to send their children to attend overseas summer camps, aiming to improve their oral English. There is no doubt that such activities will help to broaden children’s horizons.

　　However, such camps are mainly organized to visit tourist attractions, which provides few chances for the students to communicate with foreigners. Consequently, he suggested that parents should pay more attention to the schedules of the summer camps and choose them wisely. * * * *
