　　“Nothing could be better，”he thought.

　　他想：“再没有比这更好(吃)的了。”

　　比较级与否定词连用，表达最高级的含义。常用的否定词：no，not，never，hardly，nothing，nobody等。

　　①I think nothing is more important than learning English.

　　我认为学习英语最重要。

　　②No other book has a_greater_effect_on my life than this one.

　　这本书对我的生活影响最大。

　　表示最高级意义的几种特殊句式：

　　(1)never＋比较级

　　(2)nothing/no＋so＋原级＋as... nothing/no＋比较级＋than...

　　(3)can/could＋never/not＋enough/too

　　③(2011·大纲全国卷)Mr Stevenson is great to work for—I really couldn’t ask for a better boss.为Stevenson先生工作真好，我实在找不到比他更好的老板了。

　　④—Must I turn off the gas after cooking?

　　—Of course.You can_never_be_too_careful with that.

　　——做完饭后我必须关上煤气吗？

　　——当然，在用煤气方面越小心越好。

　　Ⅰ.完成句子

　　1．The boy broke the school rules and the teacher________________(让他站在教室外面)．

　　答案：　had him stand outside the classroom
