Thunder strike out Lakers to reach west finals
The Oklahoma City Thunder were one game away from a finals berth in the Western Conference going into game five against the LA Lakers. The Thunder were eliminated from the playoffs by Los Angeles in 2010 and Dallas in 2011, with both those teams going on to win the championship. After already beating Dallas this year, it seems the Thunder are on a roll.
Kobe Bryant, who anchored LA’s offence throughout the game, drilled this reverse layup to give the Lakers a 3 point lead.
Off a fast break, Russell Westbrook finds Kevin Durant, whose airborne dunk regains the Thunder lead. The dynamic duo were phenominal throughout.
