　　在下列情况下只用whether不用if：

　　（1)whether从句中有or not时

　　I don’t know whether I should finish the work or not.

　　They are talking about whether he will win the game.

　　他们在讨论他是否会赢这场比赛。

　　（3)whether引导主语从句时

　　Whether he comes matters much.

　　他来不来关系很大。

　　（4)whether引导表语从句时

　　The problem now is whether you agree with us.

　　现在的问题是你是否同意我们的观点。

　　但是在表示“如果”时，只能用if。

　　If you comes, please let me know.

　　如果你来了，让我知道一下。
