　　③search…for… 在某地找某物

　　The policemen searched the house for the stolen

　　jewellery.

　　警察搜查那栋房子寻找被偷的珠宝。

　　④介词短语in search of +寻找的目标,在句中作状

　　语意为“寻找某物”。

　　He’s sailed the seven seas in search of adventure.

　　他闯荡七大洋去历险。

　　The scientists are working hard in search of a new

　　element.

　　科学家们正在努力工作寻找一种新元素。
