　　3．动词＋宾语＋宾补

　　I’m sure we’ll find her hard at work when we get home.

　　我确信我们到家时会发现她还在埋头工作。

　　4．动词＋不定式

　　I intend to get there as soon after 5 as I can.

　　我打算5点后尽快赶到那里。

　　5．动词＋动名词

　　It’s hard to imagine working in a place like that.

　　在那种地方工作，真是难以想像。

　　6．动词＋不定式或者动名词

　　I remember meeting her at a party once.

　　我记得曾在一次聚会上见过她。

　　Did you remember to get the bread?

　　你记住要买面包了吗？

　　三、不及物动词不能用于被动语态，后面不跟宾语

　　The men’s final has been put forward to 1∶30.

　　男子决赛提前到1点半举行。

　　At dawn 300 tanks prepared to break through the enemy lines.

　　拂晓时，300辆坦克准备突破敌人的防线。

　　They kissed，then she broke away from him and ran to the window.他们亲吻，然后她从他怀里挣脱开，向窗子跑去。

　　Who is taking care of the dog while you are away?

　　当你离开时，谁来照看狗？

　　She remained at home to look after the children.
