　　Which we know, the global water shortage is becoming increasing severe mainly due to global warming, enviro- nmental pollution and the ever­increasing population.

　　【非限制性定语从句，表示“正如……”，应该用as；修饰形容词severe，应该使用副词形式increasingly。】Therefore, it's high time we do something about it. 【在It's high time后的从句中动词用过去式did。】Firstly, an effective way, I think, is reserve water in a scientific way for future use. 【此处应该使用动词不定式to reserve作表语。】Secondly, new methods need to_develop to use the existing water resources, for example, turning sea water into fresh water. 【此处应该使用动名词一般式

　　developing或者动词不定式被动式to be developed。】Thirdly, we must stop water pollution by law. Last but not least, it's everyone's responsible to make good use of water, such as recycling and saving water in our daily life. 【It's one's responsibility to do something表示“做……是某人的职责”，为固定搭配。】In conclusion, people around the world should_aware_of the real situation of water shortage, protect the present water resources and explore potential ones scientifically. 【should be aware of表示“意识到”。在助动词should后要加be。】
