　　(1)as well as 不但……而且……，连接相同的句子成分。

　　(2)前面是动词不定式，其后面也应是不定式，但省略to。(2011·全国Ⅰ阅读E)：You will be allowed to make your own decisions, and to design courses as well as present them.你将自己做出决定，涉及课程，展现课程。

　　(3)用于肯定结构和否定结构中的意义不同。as well as位于not前，两者均否定；位于not后，否定前者，肯定后者。如：He hasn't gone shopping as well as she.他没有和她一样去购物。He as well as she hasn't gone shopping. 他和她一样都没有去购物。

　　(4)as well as连接两个并列名词作主语时，谓语动词要和前面的保持一致。

　　(5)as well 也，还；常用于句末。

　　①She is a talented musician as_well_as being a photogragher.

　　她不但是个摄影师还是个天才音乐家。

　　②They sell books as_well_as newspaper.

　　他们既卖报也卖书。

　　③Are they coming as_well?

　　他们也来吗？

　　点拨：as well as连接两个并列成分时，其意义重在前者；not only...but also连接两个并列成分时，其意义重在后者。

　　He not_only read the book, but_also remembered what he read.
