　　close与closely

　　close作副词用时，意为“离……很近”，相当于near。

　　closely也有此种含义，但语气较强，相当于very near，但后面不能接to。此外，closely还常可表抽象意义，意为“亲密地；仔细地，严密地”。

　　走近一些，我有事要告诉你。

　　He is closely connected with the case.

　　他与这案子有密切的关系。
