　　divide sth (between / among sb):把食物分配（给某人）

　　divide A by B:用B除以A

　　6÷2=3(Six divided by two is three.)

　　(2)separate…from…把…与…分开

　　（注意：divide强调将原来为一个整体的东西划分为若干部分；separate强调将原来连在一起或靠得近的人或物分开）
