Part A: Reading Aloud 模仿朗读 （20分）

　　In this part, you are required to listen to the tape or watch a video clip, and read after the speaker.

　　At the northern end of Africa’s Great Rift Valley lies an area unlike anywhere on Earth. This is the Danakil Desert in Ethiopia, perhaps the most inhospitable(不适宜居住的) place known to man. Volcanoes and earthquakes continually rip(撕开) the ground apart, spewing(喷出) lava and noxious gases. And this is officially the hottest place on the surface of the planet. The idea that anyone would actually live here seems absurd. And yet there are people living here, as they have for thousands of years — a legendary nomadic warrior tribe(游牧骁勇部落) called the Afar.

　　In this part, you are required to act as a role and complete three communicative tasks: listen to the conversation, ask three questions and then answer five questions.
