　　M: ⑧I hear you’re being sent to Paris for the annual conference. Is that right?

　　W: Yes, it will be my first trip outside the country.

　　M: Are you serious? You have never been abroad before? Not even for vacation?

　　W: No, I have never been anywhere overseas. But even if I don’t get a chance to travel on my own time, ⑧at least I can travel on company time.

　　M: Well, being able to go to the conference sounds like such a good opportunity. Have you applied for a visa at the embassy yet?

　　W: Yes, it wasn’t too hard to get. All I had to do was fill out some paperwork and pay an application fee. M: You will leave next Tuesday, right? What time is your flight? W: My flight leaves at 7: 00 a. m. ⑨I have everything ready except for my luggage. M: If your flight is leaving so early, I can take you to the airport and see you off. I’ll still be able to make it into the office by 9: 00. W: That would be great! Thanks a lot!
