　　W: Hello, Mr. SmithI’m Alice Johnson with BBC. I have seen quite a lot of houses in this area actually in the past three hours since the earthquake. It really did a lot of damage, didn’t it?

　　M: Wow, you’re quick. I just phoned you two hours ago.

　　W: Yes, I was with colleagues, Lisa and Helen, just two blocks away half an hour ago. We had gone there to do the same survey. Well, let’s start here in front of the house, shall we? Uh, you’ve got part of the roof missing.

　　M: Yes. The chimney was also damaged.

　　W: Hmm. Some of the bricks have blown off. Anything else?

　　M: Yes, you can see that the window of the bedroom on the left has been destroyedI’ve just put some boards over it.

　　W: OK. Let’s walk round to the back.

　　M: Here we are.

　　W: Oh, that’s too bad. That tree has fallen down right onto the fence!

　　M: Yes. What a pity! That was a lovely treeI planted it eight years ago with my son. He is twenty now and he is studying at University of Wales. He will be very sad to hear about this.
