　　W: Good morning, Lewis Brothers.

　　M: ⑩Hello, it’s Oliver Martin here. Can I speak to Mark Hanson?

　　W: I’m afraid he isn’t in the office now. Can I take a message?

　　M: Yes, I’m phoning from Worldwide Holidays. I’ve made an order recently. Mark was dealing with it. There were several things, mainly brochures and pricelists. We’ve received those and they are fineBut we haven’t got the invitation cards that were ordered.

　　W: When did you order them?

　　MIt was about half a month ago, I think. But it’s rather urgent now. They’re for a business reception at the end of the month.

　　W: We’re quite busy at the moment, but I’m sure he’ll get them to you tomorrow. Is that OK?

　　M: That’s great! It was originally 30, but can you make that 40?

　　W: Yes. Fine.

　　M: Change the first part and make those corrections and your paper will be great.

　　W: OKThanks for all your help, Professor Morgan. I’ll e-mail my paper to you later today.

　　M: You know, in high school I used to write my term papers on a typewriterIt was pretty fast, but I made some mistakes. Actually, the typewriters weren’t that bad. Now, as for the first computers. . . oh my gosh!

　　W: What do you mean?

　　M: In those days, we used to use the ones at the university in the computer lab. I’ll never forget, one spring, during final exams, everybody was working on their term papersand the electricity went out.
