　　M:If you were an advertiser,why would you choose to advertise in a newspaper?

　　W:Everyone reads newspapers.

　　M:Correct.And that’s important because it means the ads reach large numbers of people.What else?

　　W:It’s cheap.

　　M:Yes,relatively speaking.I mean,it’s cheaper than a magazine ad,for example.And what’s more,newspapers are usually published every day,so ads can be repeated.

　　W:But most newspapers don’t have color,so they’re not very exciting.I mean,most of us throw away the newspaper at the end of the day,right?That’s why you usually don’t find ads for expensive cars in newspapers. Instead,you find those ads in magazines.

　　W:Yeah,Then two blocks and another left.Hot dog?Only seventy-five cents.

　　M:No.Thank you.I have a dinner date.
