　　to judge from/by...＝judging from/by...根据……来判断(放在句首作状语)judging from/by...置于句首作状语，v­ing不受主语和时态的影响，不能用过去分词代替。用法相似的词(组)还有：generally speaking(一般来说)，frankly speaking(坦白地说)，considering(that)．..(鉴于……，考虑到……)，supposing(that)．..(假如……，倘若……)等。
