　　I wanted to make a difference in my community but wasn't sure how.After reading about foster children (寄养儿童) using rubbish bags to carry their belongings，and how items (物品) were often lost because of the broken bags，my heart knew I had to help.I started my organization called Good Night，Sleep Tight.

　　I decided to find something that could serve foster children，and pillowcases were the perfect solution.A pillowcase could serve as a personal item，and when the child was moved to a different home，it could be used as a travel bag.I thought about what might be special to them: a stuffed(塞满了的)animal when they felt lonely；an address book to keep track of their family and friends they met on their journey；a diary book in which they write thoughts and memories and writing utensils(文具)．

　　I designed and stuffed 25 pillowcases.I contacted the child welfare agency and was excited by the reaction.When she told me that every day at least 400 foster children were in care just in our area alone，I was shocked.I needed to make many more pillowcases，and for that I needed help.
