“I can’t believe you tell people your age,” my friend said.

　　Hey,I don’t 　41　.Really.In fact,I love my age,because every single birthday means 　42　 than just presents and cakes. 

　　The day I heard the word “ 　43　 ” spoken by my doctor,my life turned upside down.The cancer had spread to my lymph nodes (淋巴结).I learned at 32 to 　44　 death. 

　　There were a lot of 　45　 to stick around—a husband of 12 years that I loved a whole lot and three beautiful children who gave me daily 　46　 in their love and handmade gifts that hung on the hospital wall. 

　　However,I’m 　47　 for cancer.Does that sound crazy?I wouldn’t wish it on 　48　 and I don’t want to go through it again but it was a(n) 　49　.It helped me to 　50　 every single day.It forced me to 　51　 my life seriously.Things that were once 　52　 seemed foolish.It let me pursue the desires of my heart,　53　 my wallet.It gave me the ability to see life as fragile (脆弱的),not one day promised. 

　　When I hit my fifth year of survival,I 　54　 my job to write full time.I decided not to write one more word about anything that didn’t 　55　 to me.Cancer taught me not to let the opportunities of your heart pass you by 　56　 we are not promised “one day” or “someday”. 

　　You see,life has become a series of 　57　.Last month,I celebrated my 13th year of survival and embraced my 44th birthday.Next month,Richard and I will celebrate our 24th anniversary.My three young children now are all 　58　 their own dreams,because my cancer taught them too.
