　　their unbelievably low budget.However，apart from the ￡ 70 they had to pay by law for their marriage fees，their only expense was a pound on Georgina's second－hand wedding gown (礼服)，with everything else donated or sourced for free.

　　It's reported that the average cost of a wedding in the UK is up to ￡20，000.However，Georgina said，“I didn't see the point in spending a huge amount of money on weddings，considering the day was supposed to be about marrying the person you loved and for us all that mattered was that we were becoming husband and wife.We didn't want or need a big，fancy affair.”

　　Georgina met singer－songwriter Sid at an art celebration in 2009，proposed (求婚) in Berlin last year，and then they started planning their big day.As they are both crazy about recycling，they decided to keep their wedding as simple as possible.Georgina said，“We wanted a small and cheap wedding，which was a natural thing for us.We enjoyed doing something a little different from everyone else，being excited to plan it all.”

　　Their wedding took place in a barn

　　(农屋) behind the couple's cottage.Georgina looked pretty in her wedding gown.Georgina' s mother Susanne，a church reader，conducted the ceremony in front of 70 guests；each of them had been asked to bring food and drink.After the wedding picnic，everyone partied the night away.
