　　[易混辨析]

　　decline/refuse/reject

　　decline 作“拒绝”之意时，常指有礼貌地回绝，婉言谢绝，其主语只能是人。

　　refuse 语气比decline重，主语可以是人也可以是物。

　　reject 比refuse语气更重，意为“抛弃，拒收，不采纳”。

　　submit vt.递交；提交；顺从；屈服；认输

　　(教材P137)You were supposed to submit it on the 14th June.

　　你本应该在6月14日提交它(文章)。

　　submit...to...把……提交给……；向……提出

　　submit sb./oneself to使某人/自己甘受，服从

　　submit to服从于，屈服于

　　①They had to submit themselves to his judgement.
