　　4 典型句式剖析

　　(教材P46)It was believed that any village that did not give food would have bad luck.人们相信，任何不愿给予食物的村庄将会遭到厄运。

　　[句式分析]　sth./sb.is believed to...为固定句式，意为“据说某人/物……”。此句式可转换为It is believed that sb./sth...其中it为形式主语，真正的主语为后面的that从句。

　　有上述用法的动词有：believe, expect, report, consider, know, suppose, judge, agree, prove等，其中不定式根据句子意思可有一般式(to do)、进行式(to be doing)或完成式(to have done)三种形式。

　　①Nearly a half people are believed to have left their homes as a result of the war breaking out in Syria.

　　人们认为有近一半的人因为叙利亚战争爆发而离开了家园。

　　②Mo Yan is reported to be writing novels these years.

　　＝It_is_reported_that Mo Yan is writing novels these years.

　　据报道，这些年来莫言一直在创作小说。
