　　There are hundreds of chocolate festivals held each year throughout the world.These are some of the best chocolate festivals held each year.

　　Chocolate Fest—This annual event is held each year in Burlington,Wisconsin,which calls itself Chocolate City,U.S.A.The festival features chocolate carving contests,rides,entertainment,as well as delicious chocolates you can eat.

　　Chocolate Week in the United Kingdom—This annual festival bills itself as the “biggest chocolate celebration in the UK”.It features chocolate tastings,demonstrations,launches of new chocolates,chocolate fountains,chocolate sculptures,etc.A key element of this festival is the Best Chocolate Awards given out in various categories,including the best chocolate shop,and the best filled chocolate.

　　Annual Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival—Each year San Francisco closes down Beach Street for two days and fills the street with booths featuring chocolate tastings,sculptures and demonstrations.The weekend event also features children’s entertainment,live music,and samples of delicious Ghirardelli chocolate as well as chocolate from local Bay Area chocolate shops.Profits benefit Project Open Hand,a charity supporting people with HIV/Aids.

　　West Coast Chocolate Festival—Held in British Columbia,Canada,this chocolate festival celebrates chocolate with chocolate tastings,poetry readings,and a final gala (联欢盛会) event.
