　　一、句子结构要分清

　　最近几年的完形填空试题中经常出现较长的句子，这些句子的结构相当复杂，给考生理解文章造成一定困难。

　　在最近几年的高考试题中，完形填空中的长难句屡见不鲜，有时一个长句中往往设置两个空格，给考生造成理解障碍，增加了试题难度。如：(2017·山东)．.. Though Rita admits she often gets __54__， she says she will continue with her work because she likes the feeling of having made a __55__ in the world.

　　54．A.surprised

　　B．excited

　　C．tired

　　D．amused

　　答案：C　该空所在的句子是让步状语从句，语意表示尽管Rita说她常会感到“疲劳”，但她仍然继续做她的工作。

　　答案：B　文章最后一句说明了the Mullers做慈善的真正意义，所以B项正确。
