　　It is reported that around three hundred million plastic bags are used by Chinese residents each day. As is shown in the picture, the earth is crying for help because of this serious white pollution.

　　To our joy, all the shopping places have been banned from providing free plastic bags from June 1, 2008. Though we have known the bad effects of plastic bags on our environment, but we still find it difficult to refuse them. Thanks to the government, firm measures are taken to limit them. I'm sure people will become accustomed to giving up the plastic bags. Only by changing the way we treat the earth can we form a harmonious relationship with it.

　　Saving the earth is saving ourselves. Stop using plastic bags.
