Codex Leicester
Leonardo da Vinci’s Codex Leicester holds the record as the most expensive book sold to date.It contains the famous artist’s notes about the links between art and science,and is illustrated with drawings to support his observations.In 1994,Bill Gates,the founder of Microsoft,purchased it for 30.8 million.
Gospels of Henry the Lion
