　　四、定语从句与强调句的区分

　　①It was in the hospital that he came across a friend of his.(强调句)

　　②It was the hospital where he came across a friend of his.(定语从句)

　　此外，高考时常将定语从句与省略、强调结合起来在具体语境中进行考查，所以，我们在解题时不能只考虑语法，还应注意实际交际功能。如：
